Out of Order
Oh, man. I can’t believe how sick I’ve been the last few days. Is it just me or do these things get progressively worse as you get older? Having just had a birthday, this cold or whatever, has felt like nature’s cruel laugh at my expense. “Don’t forget, you’re clock’s really tickin’, sucka!” I’ve barely been able to get out of bed, feelin’ like I’ve been buried under a pile of cinderblocks. Some friends took me to dinner last night, and as much as I enjoyed the dinner and didn’t want to be rude, I just kept visualizing being back under my blankets the whole time we were out. I’ve been pulling out all stops too; cold medicine, allergy, sleep, Vicodin, girl-on-girl internet publishing, acupuncture, mushrooms, phone sex, an exit visa; anything I hope will make me feel better, but nothing’s doing the trick.
I’ve been wanting to do some writing too, knowing I’ll have very little time in the coming weeks, but I just don’t have it in me right now. Before too much time passed, however, I wanted to be sure to thank Jillian for her excellent contribution last week. I always enjoy reading Jillian’s blog, and was very happy to be able to feature her here. Hopefully, I’ll be able to feature a couple more of my favorite writers while I’m in the process of moving. Not only does it help me keep things rolling during a transitional period, but I also really like the idea of showcasing talented people. That may even be a possible direction for this site as I embark on new projects in the future. Though it’s true there are other sites of this format, there are too few that really do it for me, whatever “it” is.
To that end, I haven’t been able to get around as much as I’d like lately either, but I haven’t forgotten anyone. I should be back in full swing once I get these cinderblocks off me and have resettled in a few weeks.

If I get any free time, I’ll swing by and help you out again. I can’t guarantee it though. I’ve taken on a few new writers for my website recently and as even more are coming over to write for me, I feel a little bit swamped, lol.

Well damn, it sucks being sick! I hope you “feel better”. I almost feel bad about all the questions I’ve sent your way… almost. :-)
Thanks for the mention! Featuring new and interesting people is always awesome. I’m always looking for MORE blogs to read, especially ones that do “it” for me as well. I am partial to anyone who uses “cockgobbler”, “douchebag”, “tard”, and anything else that draws the raising of eyebrows!

I heard that the best cure for a common cold is sex…you may want to let your female friends know when they ask “is there anything I can do for you”

Even after I posted those incriminating jpegs on MySpace? You’re alright in my book, Q (my book’s been banned in some countries, though).
I almost wrote a post on “criptards”, but thought it went too far. Do you know how the “Crips” gang got their name? The brother of one of the founding members had a bum leg. They don’t sound so tough in that context, do they? They are though, badass (if any Crips are reading)
I also heard that fellacio helps delay menopause.

Is it the protein?

Like relationships?
If that sounds plausible enough, then yes, it’s the protein.

Since I am “old” I guess I could say it definitely does get worse as you get older. Hell, I’m still fighting some crap I had back in January. The Dr’s love to tell me “It just takes time”… whatever that means.
Hope you get to feeling better soon.

I am sorry that you are sick, but more sorry about me being sick.
I would of flashed you via my webcam to see if that would help, but somehow I think the sight of me with tissues up each nostril to stop sinus juice would not be helpful.
I enjoyed both Jillians and Qelqoths posts so look forward to future post from them or a newbie.

That’s usually DrSpeak for either “inadaquate diagnosis” or “inadaquate coverage”
Dunno, would steal that feature, though, if it worked! ;)
I doubt I’d even notice the tissues. What’s the IP again?

I’m glad you’ve been sick. You deserve it. I’ve never seen a bigger jerk. Not only are you mean to children, but also to small dogs. I hope you don’t recover so people don’t have to read any more of this stupid blog.
[NOTE:This is NOT a real comment! I posted it and was just jokingly showing someone that I didn't care what people wanted to write in comments. —.45]

You were meant to be put off by the sinus juice, so you must be better :)

Now that you mention sinus juice without the distraction of flashing, yeah gross. Even Photoshop can’t fix that mental image.

Sinus juice or Scallop Man?

Comment made by Claire on Apr. 16, 2008 @ 2:15 pm
Yeah, somebody woke up in the wrong end of the compound. Sinus juice could probably defeat a scallopman (if put to a fight), and will you stop that?! You’re making this the undisputed home of scallopman, right after some chef guy that goes by that handle. Weirdo.

Number two on yahoo for SCALLOPMAN and number three on google for SCALLOPMAN not bad :)
I have just decided that my next doodle will be, don’t worry you will get full credit for SCALLOPMAN :)
